Both the club admin and editors (for their assigned teams) can create a new game.
Go to Games
In the dashboard under Games, you'll find the "New game" form.
Choose team and home/away
Select your team and whether it's a home or away game.
Look up the opponent
If the opponent is also on LiveClub, link them directly via search — then both sides see the same game. Otherwise, just enter the name without a link.
Set the kickoff time
Kickoff can be at most 31 days in the future — a deliberate limit so whole seasons can't be scheduled at once.
Decide who administers it
Finally, decide whether you'll administer it yourself — or leave the game open (see below).
Administer it yourself — or leave it open?
When creating a game, the form asks: "I want to be the editor for this game myself". This is enabled by default.
What happens if I turn this off?
The game stays "open" — nobody administers it at first. Every eligible editor on your team (and, for away games, on the opponent's team too) automatically gets an email invitation. Whoever clicks "Claim" first becomes the editor.
Open games show up directly on the dashboard overview of every eligible editor, with a claim button included — no need to search the games list.
Tip
As club admin you can still claim an open game yourself at any time if nobody else does — and use "Resend reminder" to trigger the invitation email again.
Duplicates
If the other side creates the same game (linked club, similar kickoff time), LiveClub automatically detects it and links both sides to the same record — no duplicate games are created.
